Zee TV USA Brings the Hottest Bollywood Movie Line up to Zee TV and Zee Cinema, including “Om Shanti Om,” and “U, Me, Aur Hum”

Family viewers can warm up to the best in Bollywood Entertainment with the release of several first run and hit movie titles now through the holidays

(DALLAS, Texas) – September 2, 2009 – Zee TV, the number one television network in the South Asian entertainment space, unveils its new line-up of movies just in time for the upcoming holiday season. As part of it’s overall goal to bring the best of Bollywood entertainment to U.S. families and residents of South Asian decent, Zee has acquired some of the biggest blockbuster movie licenses scheduled to air this year on Zee Cinema’s “Home Theater” and Zee TV’s “Ticket to Bollywood” properties.

 
Keeping in mind both the entertainment needs of the consumers and the channel philosophy of providing non-stop entertainment to its viewers, this holiday season will showcase hit family films and premier entertainment content that speaks directly to those of South Asian decent. “Om Shanti Om,” stars the ever-popular Shahrukh Khan  alongside the beautiful Deepika Padukone. Also making its television world premiere is “U, Me, Aur Hum,” directed by and starring Ajay Devgan, with his wife Kajol.

“With these new licenses, Zee once again shows its strong commitment to bringing the best in Bollywood entertainment to the living room of Zee’s audiences in the U.S.,” said Jaideep Balial, VP of Programming for Zee TV USA. 

Zee TV’s “Ticket to Bollywood” will air every Saturday 20:30 ET / 17:30 PT and Zee Cinema’s “Home Theatre” will air every Sunday 18:00 ET / 15:00 PT starting in August through the early part of 2010.
